No guesswork. One report ships in every box: it spells out the rule, lists every treat, and shows why each one earned its place, with your cat's name on top. Here's an example. The exact treats vary by box and shipment.
- The finding. The line you can't work out standing in the aisle: exactly what's not in the box. Not just chicken, but chicken fat and poultry meal, plus the vague ones like animal digest and unspecified natural flavor. We check every name they hide under.

Built from what cat owners actually look for
Since 2024, cat owners on KibbleLab keep searching for the same things: chicken-free treats, dental chews, novel proteins and fish-only options. That's what the founding boxes are built from.
We check things other boxes can't
Every treat we consider goes through the same ingredient database and scoring rubric behind KibbleLab. When a box rules an ingredient out, we drop the vague ones too, like animal digest, where we can't confirm what animal it came from.
We don't launch a box until there's enough variety
We only launch a box once we've found enough treats and brands to go months without repeating. If one can't clear that, we hold it back rather than mail you the same thing twice.

Is reserving a purchase or a subscription?
No. Reserving is free and no card is required. We'll email you when Batch 001 is ready, with the final price and a checkout link. Your first box is a one-time purchase, and nothing becomes recurring unless you choose that later.
Why are some prices crossed out?
The struck price is what each box costs once Batch 001's 25 boxes are gone. Reserve during Batch 001 and you lock the founder price shown, $10 less on every box. We'll confirm your locked price in the checkout email before you pay.
When will Batch 001 ship?
We're targeting early October 2026, around the week of October 6, within a few weeks of the founding panel filling. We'll confirm the exact ship date before asking you to buy.
Can I choose the exact treats?
You won't know the exact four in advance, but you'll know exactly why each one made it in. Every pick has to clear that box's published rule and score high on our rubric, and all four are listed and explained in your report.
Can I switch boxes, even on a subscription?
Yes. You can change your box any time before you buy the first one. And if you keep going on a subscription, you can switch to a different box between shipments, right up to your next billing date. Your report always matches the box you're on.
Is shipping included?
Yes. The price shown for each box includes standard shipping within the contiguous U.S.
What if something arrives damaged or incorrect?
Contact us within 14 days of delivery and we'll replace or refund any damaged, spoiled, or incorrect items.
Can food be returned?
Because the box is food, shipped boxes generally can't be returned. If there's a problem with an item, contact us and we'll make it right.
What if my cat has a diagnosed allergy?
Our screening is based on the manufacturer's current ingredient label and can't rule out cross-contact during manufacturing. If your cat has a diagnosed allergy or is completing an elimination trial, ask your veterinarian before introducing new treats.
If I subscribe later, can I skip or cancel?
Yes. Future subscriptions can be skipped, switched, or canceled before the next billing date.
