Is any of this free?
Yes. Looking up a product and reading an ingredient page cost nothing today, no account required. The personalized handout, donated-food check, recall alerts, and the badge and grant-reporting language are all things we're gauging interest in before we build them, so tell us what would help and we'll follow up.
Do we need to create an account?
No. The tools that exist today (product lookup, ingredient pages) need no login. If you request one of the newer offers, we'll follow up by email to work out what makes sense for your shelter.
How does the personalized handout work if we're not tech savvy?
It's meant to be simple: tell us the animal's current food and anything you already know (weight, age, allergy flags), and we send back a print-ready page. No app, no account, no QR code, just a short link you can type in or a page you can print.
How would recall alerts actually reach us?
That's still being worked out based on interest. The likely shape is an email to your shelter's contact whenever a brand you told us you're feeding shows up in our recall database.
What can the badge or grant language actually say?
Only what was checked, never a safety or certification claim. Expect wording like "AAFCO nutrient profile checked," not "safe" or "certified." We'll be specific about what any badge or language means before you ever use it.
Do you sell or share adopter data?
No. Anything you send us is used to follow up and build the offer you asked about, nothing else. Read our privacy policy
